In addition to providing exceptional service and value to our customers, team members and industry partners, Eby Construction believes it is vital to provide exceptional service and value to our community and society as a whole.
Eby Construction recognizes the value that providing service opportunities to employees brings to our company, the team members themselves and our community. As such, we are all encouraged to participate in the employee Voluntary Time Off (VTO) provision, which enables each team member to spend paid work time each year volunteering for an approved nonprofit organization or cause.
“I am passionate about helping the young men and women of our community in the Scouting program. In addition to Scouting, I help support three other nonprofits on their Boards of Directors: KANSEL, United Way of the Plains and the Construction Financial Management Association Chapter of Greater Wichita.”Adam Dunn, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Eby Construction
“I volunteer for the Toy Run For Kids and provide support to wounded veterans and first responders. I’m also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 136).”Bob Drake Eby Construction
“I serve as the community service chair for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Construction Leadership Council. We have provided projects for Cowtown, City of Wichita, Together Wichita and Habitat for Humanity. I have also acted as a team captain for the American Heart Association Heart Walk.”Tim Caudle Eby Construction
Eby Construction has partnered with the United Way for decades by facilitating employee campaigns and occasionally providing loaned executives to help accomplish their mission. Every year, we treat our employees to a free lunch and a presentation about the mission of the United Way. During that time, employees are encouraged to give via payroll deduction. In addition to employee contributions, we make an annual corporate contribution. Over the years, Eby Construction and its employees have given hundreds of thousands of dollars to help those less fortunate in our community.Visit Website
Eby Construction has been a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters for many years. The organization makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”) in communities across the country. We’re proud to say our employees have raised more than $60,000 to benefit the organization.Visit Website
